My name is Verity. I am a PhD student from the University of Bristol. I am looking for mixed race children and young people aged 6-16 and their adoptive parents to take part in my study. What is my research about? This research is about the identities, particularly ethnic identities, of mixed race children who have been adopted. I also want to find out how adoptive parents help mixed race adopted children feel happy about themselves and cope with bullying or racism. The study is funded by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC).
